Authors are responsible for obtaining permission from copyright holders for reproducing through any medium of communication those illustrations, tables, figures or lengthy quotations previously published elsewhere. Credit the source and copyright of photographs or figures in the accompanying captions.

Permitted third-party reuse is defined by the following user license:

Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial (CC BY-NC). CC BY-NC allows users to copy, read, download and distribute the article, provided this is not done for commercial purposes. The users may adapt – remix, transform, and build upon the material giving appropriate credit, and providing a link to the license. The journal’s policy is to own the copyright in all contributions. Before publication authors assign copyright to the Matenadaran: Medieval and Early Modern Armenian Studies but retain their rights to republish this material in other works written or edited by them subject to full acknowledgement of the source of publication.

Archiving Policy

All MEMAS periodical issues are archived on the Brepols Online platform  and the official MEMAS website, as well as  Pan-Armenian Digital Library ensuring long-term digital preservation and accessibility.

Repository Policy

Authors are permitted to deposit a copy of their published article in an institutional or other repository of their choice, provided that proper citation to the original publication in MEMAS is included.
