Submission of Manuscripts

Matenadaran: Medieval and Early Modern Armenian Studies accepts online submissions through Open Journal System (OJS). Authors will need to register and follow the steps for Submissions. 

Manuscripts must be submitted on the understanding that they have not been published elsewhere and are only being considered by this journal. The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that the article’s publication has been approved by all the other coauthors. 

Manuscripts are accepted in English (with British spelling), French, German, Italian, and Russian including an abstract and keywords. Authors are expected to submit correct, proofread manuscripts. If an accepted paper still requires extensive corrections with regard to language and style, MEMAS will ask the authors to apply for a professional copy editor. To ensure a fast publication process of the article, authors must provide proof corrections within two weeks.

You will receive notification of the review process outcome within 4-6 weeks. If your paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to sign a copyright transfer form.
