Matenadaran: Medieval and Early Modern Armenian Studies is an open access, peer-reviewed journal. All articles are fully open access and freely available to read, download, copy, distribute, link directly to the full text of the documents, or use for any other lawful purpose.

Articles are published under the terms of a Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial (CC BY-NC) which permits use, distribution and reproduction in any medium or format. 

MEMAS is committed to making its research available to the widest possible audience. To this end, our journal supports the principles of open access, namely: 

• Authors retain copyright to the work they publish in MEMAS.
• All published research is indexed and archived in a public repository. 
• All authors have the right to self-archive their work in any repository, including institutional repositories.
